This single story extension allowed a family of 4 to create a more open space within their home by adding a lounge / day room and office. By adding the lounge this has freed up space within their home allowing them to refurnish a room for their kids to have their very own playroom. This extension is brick built matching the colour of the existing building and features by adding the blue brick. It is equipped with many features such as two electric controlled Velux windows which can be controlled by your mobile phone. This room will never feel cold due to the fantastic underfloor heating installed keeping the room and your feat warm. The extension has been designed for easy access to the garden with a set of french doors installed in the lounge companied by two tall windows either side and also a single door which is fitted in the office.

We cannot recommend Steve and his team highly enough!
We spent many, many months researching and gathering quotations from various builders across the region. Our project was to have our cold and impractical conservatory replaced with a brick built extension consisting of two rooms (Day Room and an Office), this allowed us to also double the size of the area.

Simpson Building Contractors are competitively priced, honest, reliable and above all their work is to an extremely high standard. Their outstanding reputation in the business precedes them.
We did learn through the quotation process from other builders that some requested a deposit / money upfront. Steve was quick to advise this is something that should be avoided. Simpson Building Contractors payment terms are through stage payments and nothing is paid upfront – this clearly illustrated how honest and trustworthy Simpson Building Contractors are.

What struck accord with us is that due to Steve’s experience and network of contacts he can project manage the entire build from start to finish, liaising with electricians, plumbers, building regs, structural engineers and a host of further suppliers, thus saving us time and money (this in itself saved us nearly £2000 for not requiring a project manager) this took the stress away from us and enabled us to carry on our day to day lives.

Steve has a team of highly trained staff. Even at the end of each days work the hard working staff clear up and tidy the area (it’s the little things that count). All the staff take great care and pride in their work.
Steve and his team are incredibly professional, the attention to detail is second to none. Even when we enquired about a last minute change to the build with requiring an additional velux window Steve was extremely accommodating.

We have already recommended Steve to friends and family and will continue to do so in the future.
