Our clients came to us because they was fed up having a dark small kitchen and dining space shared with a conservatory which in winter was too cold and in summer too warm. We worked with our client and architect to design something which they loved which consisted of knocking down the conservatory and replacing it with a steel frame and block built extension which was later rendered on the outside. Across the back wall of the house this was knocked through and a large long beam was put in place to take the weight of the house this allowed the kitchen to be extended and create a larger space for an island. The extension is fitted with a wren kitchen and granite work tops, underfloor heating, two electric controlled velux windows, bluetooth sound-system and anthracite aluminium sliding bi-fold doors allowing your to bring the inside to the outside in summer and really open up the space you have.
